ROYAL MADRAS YACHT CLUB (RMYC)

RMYC is the first Accredited Training Centre of Yachting Association of India in South India.

Yachting Association of India (YAI) is the governing authority for sailing, windsurfing, motor boating, powerboat racing and personal watercraft, at sea and on inland waters in India; Working together, we encourage participation in the sport we all enjoy.

RMYC is the only Club in India to have a fleet of boats comprising Optimists, Lasers, Enterprise, Water wags, Omega, 420 Class, 29ers, Seabirds, J 80s, row boats, motor boats and motor yachts catering to every age group for hobby or professional use.

Old or young, experienced or novice we welcome all those whose aim is to have “fun” on the waters.

Come, enjoy and get trained in handling powerboats. You are guaranteed to have the fun of your lifetime. Upon completion of requirements, you'll be issued a certificate by Yachting Association of India with which you are eligible to rent power boats and take your family and friends out on joy rides anywhere in India.
